it's not bad, seems like the typical americanized style...so i would suggest putting more of yourself/style into it

Yeah I was thinking maybe some action lines. originally i think i intended to color in a moon and some clouds behind him. Not sure which I want to go with.

The page layout is pretty good, I can tell whats going on, thats good. The problem here is the shadow and the movement. The shadows of the first and third panel make no sense, the blue background is only a distraction and screams laziness. You need to include backgrounds, like the one on the second to last panel, thats good. Also, in the third panel, its hard to tell hes jumping, you need to show his feet off the ground. When he crashes through the window, his arms are a bit too elongated, and he looks way too feminine in the third panel.
Other than that, I like the style here, it is not too american, it looks to me like a blend of eastern and western. And in my opinion, western looks better than easter, but thats just an opinion.

Thanks. Yeah, backgrounds are the bain of my existence. Working on it . I am trying to figure out simplified style so that I would be able to turn out a page a day, with me doing ink and colors as well. But i do have a tendency to be lazy so I dont want it to look like i am being lazy...but stylish . This was inspired by Mike Mignola's work on Hellboy. Though not as quirky cool as his stuff.

Well the gradient background is disappointing. Just try to fill in something.
